The European Ecolabel demanding

The Suquet team has chosen to follow the requiring specifications of the European Ecolabel, normalized AFNOR. It guarantees the reduction of the environmental impacts of the activity.
A perpetual improvement approach with a continuous working group, audited with third parties every 2 years.

Environmental responsibility

“The Ecolabel has led us, for example, to countless gestures such as the use of taps and bulbs with reduced consumption, the elimination of individual or disposable packaging in bathrooms or breakfast. We have also carried out major work such as the installation of photovoltaic panels or the construction of a water treatment plant. We invite customers to get involved in our eco-responsible approach but also employees by raising them awareness of the environmental actions of our house as carpooling, or through a day dedicated to the subject for example ”underlines Véronique Bras.

Organic and common sense in the kitchen

"Our terroir is the pantry of our kitchen" enthuses Sébastien Arm. "We favor the room of course, which begins with the picking a few meters from the suquet," smiles the cook. Lionel Sabrié with his organic laguiole embellishes the cheese tray which all come from Aveyron (Roquefort, Bleu des Causses, goats, etc.) or neighboring departments. The teams have always been sorting of course, compost and dehydrate in order to drastically reduce the volume of waste and even give them a second life.
